When is the festival?
  The weekend of August 24,25 and 26.

What are the hours of the festival?
  Music starts starts Friday at 3 pm.  Music goes from 1pm until midnight Saturday and Sunday.  AfterParties are on-site, will begin at midnight, and go until 2:30 am Friday and Saturday and 2:00 am Sunday.

What kind of security can we expect?  
Everyone entering the festival grounds will be searched upon entry. You will need to empty your pockets and have all items examined. Narcotics officers will be working inside and outside of the event. All narcotic laws will be strictly enforced. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone. Once inside, there will be event staff and police to help ensure your safety and security.

Will there be re-entry?
  Yes! Your festival wristband that you receive upon entering will allow you to come and go.

What are all the wristband policies? All sales are FINAL – no refunds and no exchanges.

  • DO NOT BUY TICKETS FROM THIRD PARTY TICKETING SITES.  If you purchase a counterfeit ticket, you will be denied entry without refund.
  • Wristbands MUST be worn for entry into the Festival and at all times inside the Festival.
  • Wristbands MUST be worn securely on your wrist so that it cannot be slipped on and off.
  • 3-Day Passes MUST be scanned upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.  Wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-EXCHANGEABLE and NON-REPLACEABLE.
  • Do NOT remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will not be allowed entry.
  • Subsequent and/or multiple presentations of a counterfeited wristband are VOID and will be seized by Festival security staff.
  • If your wristband is removed by Festival security/event staff for any reason, it WILL NOT be replaced and you will be ejected from the festival.
  • All passholders must pass through security and are subject to bag inspection. Prohibited items will be confiscated by event staff.
  • The festival takes place rain or shine.
  • THERE ARE ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS TO THIS WRISTBAND POLICY.
  • 3-Day Pass holders are allowed to enter and exit the festival as needed up to X times per day. Single-Day passholders are not allowed to enter and exit the festival. Once in, they must remain in the festival.

Will alcoholic beverages be served?
  Alcoholic beverages will be served to those with a government-issued photo ID that says you are 21 years of age or older. You must show your ID to a festival employee to get at 21+ wristband.

Can I buy tickets at the event? 
There will be tickets available at the box office on the festival grounds. Camping availability is limited, and you are not guaranteed a camping spot by purchasing a ticket.

Can I buy a ticket for just one day?
  Yes, single day tickets are available, as well as full weekend passes.

Will there be ATM’s at the festival?
  Yes, there will be ATM’s located throughout the festival grounds.

Is there a limit on how big my campsite can be or how many people/tents per campsite? 
This depends on whether you have purchased General Camping, VIP Regular Camping, or VIP Jumbo Camping. Check out our Camping & Lodging page for more info.

Will there be showers?  The VIP campground has showers built into the festival grounds, only for use to VIP campers.  There will be pay-showers located in the South Campground area.  You will need to purchase a shower ticket from the General Store.

Where can I access water?  There is a row of drinking fountains in the main festival grounds that you will have access to.  The South Campground also has a number of places to fill water bottles, camelbacks, or other containers for camping needs.

What if we are camping, but bringing two cars?  Purchase a weekend parking pass, which will allow you to keep the second car at festival parking throughout the duration of the festival.  Only one car will actually be allowed in the camping area.

What happens if it rains? 
The show will go on! The festival will take place rain or shine and all artists advertised are confirmed to play. If weather does not allow for safe travel to the venue for an artist, the lineup is subject to change without notice. It’s best to visit the website for the most up-to-date info.

Is glass allowed in the campsite?
  No, sorry.

What can I bring into the festival?

Digital phone or disposable cameras, fanny packs, purses, European carry-alls, and normal sized school backpacks although keep in mind everything will be searched and the more stuff you bring the longer everyone has to wait in line.  Lawn chairs, blankets, sunglasses, hats, lighters, cigarettes, glowsticks, sun block, lip gloss, empty plastic containers, staffs/flag pole type items, umbrellas, binoculars, etc.

What can’t I bring into the festival?

Large lounge chairs, tents, knives or anything deemed a weapon, video or audio recording devices, professional cameras, pets, food, glass containers, aerosol cans of ANY kind, drugs or drug paraphernalia, unauthorized solicitations, handbills, sampling or giveaways.

What if I purchased a 3 day pass and can’t make it to one of the days, can I let someone else use it? 
Purchased tickets are valid for only one person and are non transferable.  Ticket buyers will turn in their ticket for a wrist-band upon entry to the festival, and removal of this wrist-band will result in no re-admittance.

Where is the nearest airport?
  MPS – Minneapolis/St. Paul International Airport

Where is the nearest store/supermarket?
  The town of Somerset has a number of options for needed items.  There will also be a general store on site for a number of general items.

If I’m coming from out of town, but don’t want to camp, are there other options for lodging?
  The nearby towns of Hudson, WI and Stillwater, MN have lots of hotels.

Will tickets sell out?
  Maybe. Buy advance, guaranteed to dance.

I’m camping, what should I bring?
  You must bring your own tent and any other camping needs for the weekend.

Are pets allowed in the campsites?  No pets allowed.

What time do the gates open for camping?  We will start camping sites at 6 AM Friday, June 24th.  We will camp the South Campground first, in order of arrival.  Once the South Campground is filled, we will camp the North Campground.

Will there be a first aid area, or paramedics on duty?
  We will have plenty of paramedics on duty, as well as several first aid stations.

Is there a Lost and Found? Yes, you must email info@somersetamphitheater.com and provide your name, contact information and a full description of your lost item.
