This memorial day weekend featured a number of big-time music festivals and events, and we hope you were able to enjoy the holiday weekend in some manner.  Maybe you tripped to Summer Camp to rock out with Umphrey’s, Janes Addiction, Common, and the rest of the troops in Illinois.  Maybe southern MN was your destination, at Bella with Big G, Sphongle, Primus, and a host of others.  The Minneapolis area itself hosted the annual Soundset event, put on by the Rhymesayers collective.  A TON of people showed up to party all day long in 90 degree heat, with headliner after headliner droppin’ rhymes until a nasty storm came in around 7:30 pm and forced an evacuation of the festival.  And we definitely can not forget DEMF, where the techno folks join forces yearly to cherish the roots of EDM and look into the future as well.  Maybe you chilled around home, took the boat to the lake, or grabbed a rooftop dinner somewhere.  No matter what, we hope the weekend was kind to you.

We enter week 2 of our Summer Camp Music & Camping lineup announcement, and the feedback has been amazing so far.  Thanks for all the comments.  We are trying to keep up with all of the questions posted in a timely manner, but we have to admit this thing kinda took an organic viral growth that exceeded our expectations.  Stay tuned to our homepage or facebook fanpage for updated details on everything related to the festival.

A couple quick questions that people keep asking about…

1. Camping: the price is now $150, which gets you 5 people camping and 1 vehicle.  ***Note*** Everyone still needs a ticket into the festival itself, which is on top of the $150 camping fee.

2. Tickets: currently set at $75 for the weekend pass, this price will not last much longer.  We are putting a LOT into this lineup and festival, but want to make sure we provid an accessible ticket price for you.  You can expect the weekend pass to go up in early June.

3. After-parties: we do have after-parties lined up for each night of the festival.  We will announce these after-parties (with additional headliners not announced yet) in due time.
